Studios that run smoothly from first cue to last
We help broadcasters and venue teams plan, equip and run studios for television news and live shows, from cabling and cameras to lighting, sound and run sheets.
What we do in the studio
Practical support for every part of the studio
Studio work depends on many small decisions made in the right order. We look after the equipment, the people operating it and the plan that binds them, so nothing is left to chance on air.

A studio ready to broadcast
Cameras, vision mixer, monitors and cabling are installed, labelled and tested together, so the gallery team can focus on the programme rather than the kit.

Looks that stay consistent
Lighting and camera positions are recorded for each set, so a bulletin at noon looks the same as one in the evening, whoever is on shift.

Clear sound, calm cues
Microphones are placed and mixed for speech first, and cue sheets are agreed in advance, which keeps live shows steady when timings shift.
Teams who rely on studios and live production
Our work suits anyone responsible for putting a programme on screen. Some teams run daily news, others stage one-off live events. We adjust the scale of support to the size of the room and the crew, and we explain choices in plain terms.
Regional television newsrooms
Small news teams that need a dependable studio, consistent lighting and clean sound for daily bulletins, with equipment that is simple for rotating crews to operate.
Independent production companies
Producers of panel shows and live programmes who need operators, workflow planning and technical support for a studio they hire or only partly equip.
Venue and theatre managers
Venues that want to film or stream events and need cameras, sound and cabling planned around the stage, the audience and the existing building.
Festival and concert organisers
Organisers of filmed concerts and festivals who need a broadcast-quality feed without disturbing the performers, the crowd or the running order.
Education and training studios
Colleges and training centres with a small studio who want a clear equipment plan and a workflow that students and staff can learn quickly.
Corporate and community broadcasters
Organisations producing regular live or recorded shows who need a tidy setup, reliable audio and a plan their own staff can follow.
What we stand for
Frequently asked questions
Do you only work with large broadcasters?
No. We work with newsrooms, independent producers, venues and smaller organisations. The scale of support follows the size of the room and the crew, and we say plainly when a lighter setup will do the job. Tell us what you plan to produce and we will suggest a sensible starting point.
Can you work with equipment we already own?
Yes, where it is in good condition and suited to the programme. We review what you have during the first visit and note what can be reused, what needs repair and what should be replaced. Our plan keeps new purchases to what the studio genuinely needs.
Do you supply operators as well as advice?
We do. Camera operators and an audio engineer can join your production for rehearsals and broadcast, working alongside your own crew. Some clients use us only for setup, others for regular shifts. The arrangement is agreed in writing beforehand.
How do we begin a project?
Send an enquiry through the contact page describing the space, the type of programme and your timing. We reply to arrange a call or visit, then provide a written quotation. Work starts once the quotation is confirmed, and payment follows by invoice.
Can you support a live event away from a studio?
Yes. We provide technical support for filmed concerts, festivals and party nights, including camera positions, sound and a broadcast-quality feed. We visit the venue beforehand to check power, sightlines and cable routes with the venue team.
Will our team be able to run the studio without you?
That is the aim. We hand over equipment lists, lighting plots, cue structures and simple fault-finding notes, and we train your crew during rehearsals. You can call on us again for busy periods or larger productions.
Where are you based, and where do you travel?
Our office is on Kingsway Wharf in Swansea. We work in studios and venues across Wales and further afield when a project calls for it. Travel arrangements are discussed and written into the quotation.
How is the work priced?
Prices depend on the service, the size of the studio or event and the time involved. The prices page sets out what each service costs and what it includes. A written quotation confirms the figure for your project before anything begins.
